Do I need planning permission?

No, in most cases roof-mounted PV Systems are usually permitted development.
Exceptions to this are:
 • Listed buildings
 • Conservation Areas
 • Large ground-mount systems

What about grid approval – G98 or G99?

G98: Up to 3.6 kW (single-phase) / 11.04 kW (three-phase) is a simple process of install & notify. BlueBuild look after this whole process for you as your installer. 
 G99: For larger systems there is a requirement for NIE application & approval, however for many commercial customers this is worth while investment for a large scale PV System. BlueBuild take you through this process from start to finish, looking after your complete G99 application.
